Passports: All guest must carry a valid, signed passport (not expiring within 6 months of trip return date).
Visas:No visa needed for US citizens for Israel/Europe. Visas needed for Russia & South America. Visa is required for Philippine citizens (90 days lead-time). Contact Noelette Tours for more information. It's the travelers responsibility to secure a visa and/or consult a visa service in advance of their trip to allow them to secure the necessary visa.
Check-In: Passenger must check-in directly at the airport at least 3 hours before departure. Luggage handling is included from/to hotel and bus; not including airports. Carry-on luggage are the responsibility of passengers at all times. For connecting flights, allow at least 3 hrs lead time and check-in your luggage to your final destination.
Airline Ticket: Your airline reservation has been confirmed however E-tickets (no paper ticket) are issued about 21 days prior to departure. To check-in, present your passport (at least 6 month valid), flight information, and Mileage #. Meet the group at the departure gate.
Airline Seats: As part of a group, seats are restricted and pre-assigned by the Airline Group Dept. only. Therefore may be changed during check-in only. Group tickets are not eligible for upgrade. Contact Noelette Tours if you would like to upgrade.
Airport Security: All liquids, perfume, gel, toothpaste, etc. must be checked-in. Small amounts may be allowed in carry-on luggage, up to 3.4 oz/100 ml each, contained inside a quart-size clear plastic zip-top bag.
Luggage Allowance:One checked bag, maximum 50 lbs (23 kg) and 62” linear (L”+ W”+ H”) in dimension, plus one carry-on bag, and a personal item, like purse or computer. Note:
Currency:(variable)1 Euro = 1.15 USD / 1 Israeli Shekel = 0.30 USD. US Dollars and credit cards are widely accepted. ATMs are available in local currency. Inform your bank before your travel, if using credit cards or ATMs. Change about $50 in local currency for your food & minor items.
Weather Forecast (Deg in F): Europe: ~ High70/Low 50. Re-check forecast before final packing. Dress in layers and wear comfortable shoes. Bring umbrella or raincoat/poncho.
Meals: Regular Tours (Cruises excluded): Breakfast and dinner are included daily. However, lunch is not included. Expect to spend an average of $10 to $20/person for lunch. Drinks are also not included. Bottled water is usually for sale at the bus or in stores.
Mass: Scheduled daily (TBA). Proper attire is required in churches (no shorts, sleeveless). Bring your bible/prayer/song books.
Voltage (220v): Bring rounded 2-prong adaptors. Hair dryers are provided in most hotels.
Phone/Internet: Pre-arrange with your mobile carrier to enable international roaming. Most hotels have free Wi-Fi access.
Apps to Download: We recommend downloading the following apps (in addition to your designated airline/cruise app) on your mobile device prior to departure: WhatsApp – allows you to message/call your contacts when you have internet access. Google Translate – can be used to translate signs/words and speak for you in preferred language Mobile Passport Control – for those who do not have Global Entry, access MPC fast lanes when arriving at US ports of entry.
Walking Requirements: Expect moderate (80%) to heavy (20%) walking activity. We encourage daily walks/exercise for conditioning before the trip to maximize site visits.
Things to Bring: Bring casual clothes, light jacket, and comfortable shoes/slippers. Snacks, candies, sanitizer, sun block, tissue paper & medications. Separate your prescription medications and other important items plus one extra change of clothes in your carry-onbag.
Suggestion: Leave home and in a safe place a photocopy of your itinerary, credit cards, passport for emergency replacement. Make use of hotel room safe to store your valuables/important documents.
